Training FAQs

Do I need experience pulling a tanker?  No, you don't.  We are more than happy to train you on the safe driving and handling of liquid products.  You do need 2 years full-time tractor trailer or similar experience within the past 7 years.

How long is the training and where do I have to go?  The training is done at our terminals by our certified trainers.  The training will last from 2-5 days depending on your experience.  We also have a New Associate Training Program (NAOP) class every 2 weeks that you will get to attend during your first couple of months with us.

Do I get paid for the class too?  What about my accommodations and transportation?  You receive the training pay.  We will pay for your hotel, feed you breakfast & lunch & reimburse you for dinner. We will pay for you to get to and from training.  Most of the time, we get you a load to and from there.

Do I get paid for training?  We pay $96 a day for those drivers with recent tanker experience and $75 a day for those without experience.
