Don Grossett is the Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Liquid Transport Corp and has been with LTC since May of 1997. He holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Pennsylvania State University. His transportation career started over 30 years ago as a management trainee who was soon promoted to a sales position and eventually won the "sales person of the year" award at his first sales endeavor. Through the years, he has held progressively more responsible sales and management positions in an exceptionally challenged service industry environment.
Today, at LTC & The Dana Companies Don continues to build and lead the sales and marketing team, and to continually develop the comprehensive market approach to match the right customer to the most effective value-added services Liquid can offer to optimize customer satisfaction and fulfillment. Don is committed to building our bulk segment markets in all that we serve: bulk chemicals, intermodal services, petroleum and lubes, dry product, asphalt, leasing, and storage. Don has spearheaded efforts to make Liquid a leader in leveraging the power of the internet, in advancing web-enabled e-commerce applications, and in developing additional technologies to insure Liquid's competitive advantage. Don is directly responsible for several of Liquid's marquis accounts and is a member of the Senior Management Team.
Don is a member of several professional associations: Council of Logistics Management; Past President, Guild of American Transportation Specialists; Cleveland Traffic Club; Texas Tank Truck Association; and Pittsburgh Traffic Club.
Don, has two grown children, both attorneys, and one "late coming" little girl to keep him young. He and his wife LouAnn reside in Indianapolis and are big sports fans especially of the Big Ten. Relaxation includes many physical activities and outdoor sports, the best of which is his golf game, and riding Harleys.
