Christine Jeschke is the Vice President, Human Resources for Liquid Transport Corp and has been with LTC since March 2003. Christine graduated from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, with a double major in International Business and French Cultural Studies. As part of her studies, she lived in Canada, France and Belgium. She is SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) Certified through the Society for Human Resource Management. Christine’s professional career started with Roadway Global Air as a Special Accounts Representative just before they closed that division of Roadway. After that, she was the Human Resources Manager for Nu-Tec Roofing for 5 years and the HR Director for their parent company, New Millennium Roofing, for 2 years. At LTC, Christine directs all of the benefit programs, deals with unemployment issues, coordinates recruiting, retention and terminations at the corporate level while assisting terminal managers hire administrative staff at the terminals, assists department managers with personnel issues, deals with State and Federal Department of Labor rules and regulations, manages the job description process, and oversees wage issues and paperwork. She is proud to say that LTC leads the pack as far as companies that genuinely care for their associates. “Associates are definitely more than a number here, they are treated like family.” Christine is married to Stuart Ough who she met the first day of college. They adopted their first son, Cailum, in October 2006 from Guatemala. They have eight rescued pets (4 dogs and 4 cats) and two aquariums. She also has foster cats and dogs. Christine is on the board of two animal welfare organizations: Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana and Move to Act. She also volunteers with the Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership and does pit bull rescue. She has been a vegetarian since she was a teenager. For hobbies, Christine scuba dives, flower gardens and does Tae Bo. |
