Welcome to the Liquid Transport Corp Pleasant Valley, Missouri terminal just outside of northern Kansas City. We are one of the LTC's largest terminals in tractor count and revenue. Currently, we have seven company drivers, 38 owner operators, two dispatchers, and a terminal clerk. I have worked with some really good teams through the years, but our team here is more like a family. We treat each other with honesty and respect, and from the drivers to myself, we do not hesitate to help one another. The primary source of our revenue comes from the agricultural side of the tanker industry. On a local basis, we pull asphalt and intermodal containers for various shippers. We also send our drivers into the system where they may haul anything from acids to resins to solvents or latex. Our drivers can expect to stay out seven to ten days, but if they live close to the terminal, it will probably not be that long. We try to stay loaded as much as possible. Our drivers enjoy a good living (average $135,000 for contractors and $42,000 for company drivers) and a respectful working atmosphere. We try to look out for each other at all times so we enjoy good relationships as well.
