General FAQs

You were recently purchased by Dana Companies.  Will there be changes in how your run or what you offer? LTC continues to run as a separate company, but with all the added advantages of being part of the 3rd largest tanker company in the country.  You now have access to over 30 tank washes, 3,000 trailers, and a network of terminals & customers that are unbeatable in the industry.

How many miles can I expect a week?  Regional drivers run an average of 2,752 miles per week.  Those drivers who run the longer "system loads" do more.

How are the new hours of service affecting your drivers?  It's been a challenge, but with our commitment to our drivers, we are making it work.  Our dispatchers are more aware of your hours and we are getting more of our customers away from delivery and pickup times.  They are giving us 2-4 hour windows to arrive.  As always, we are committed to being one of the safest companies on the road.  We have a motto that "you are the captain of your ship."  We will NEVER ask you to run when it isn't safe or legal.

Do you have forced dispatch?  We do not.  We run a first in, first out dispatch giving you the choice from your home terminal.  While out in the system, you are given the first refusal on loads.  We will always send you toward home whenever possible.
