Mechanic, Granite City, IL |
We are seeking a qualified
candidate with strong mechanical skills for all phases of repair in a
fleet environment that includes tractors and tank trailers at our
Granite City, Illinois terminal. The position is full-time,
Monday-Friday. This is for 1st shift. Hours from 6 am until
4 pm, Monday thru Friday with some Saturday work. There is a 30-minute
lunch break. Overtime is payable after 50 hours. Mainly preventative
maintenance service work on cabs, tractor/trailer inspections, trailer
brakes, electrical repairs, fender work. Electronic trouble shooting
skills on electronic engines helpful. Must have own tools. Tasks such
as engine repairs, clutches, fans, and drive-axle work are usually sent
