LTC’s Management
Curriculum This series presents
self-paced reinforcement and learning that’s easy and convenient. These
comprehensive self-study books are filled with exercises, activities,
assessments, and case studies that increase both awareness and understanding.
LTC's requiring this curriculum recognizes and emphasizes that People Management
is a critical part of the LTC Manager’s job. Not only must the LTC Manager be
technically proficient, but he/she must be a leader, focusing on the human side
of the management business. These texts are distributed periodically throughout
the year, and are followed up by a web- based, open-book exam that highlights
and re-emphasizes the text’s critical information. Records of completed exams
are retained in the Training Management File. Managers are expected to
understand, absorb, practice and, thus, to be constantly developing and
enhancing their people skills. The curriculum’s topics force managers to think
and talk about issues that might otherwise be ignored in the intense routine of
the busy LTC Manager’s job.

Managers can have ready access, as soon as they’ve finished working through a
